Lovable

Overview

Loomi is an experimental app I designed on Lovable, a platform for rapid design exploration. The goal was to see how far I could push ideas using prompts as a creative tool, testing concepts and interactions quickly.

Rapid AI Prototyping

I jumped into designing Loomi by letting prompts spark the first ideas—almost like sketching with words. Once a concept came up, I brought it into Figma, tweaking layouts, updating components and fine-tuning copy to match what I envisioned.

Each iteration was a loop: adjust the prompt → generate → adapt in Figma → repeat. Some flows changed completely, others just needed small tweaks—but every step taught me something new about how design can emerge through experimentation.

The focus wasn’t on perfect screens—it was on learning, iterating fast and discovering how prompts and hands-on design could work together to bring an idea to life.

Reflections

Designing Loomi on Lovable reminded me how valuable curiosity and iteration are in the creative process. Playing with prompts pushed me to think differently, while jumping into Figma to tweak and refine kept the ideas grounded in real design.

I learned that experimentation isn’t just about exploring new tools—it’s about blending generative ideas with hands-on decision-making. Every tweak, every updated prompt and every redesigned component reinforced that learning happens in motion, not just on the page.

Most importantly, it showed me that speed, flexibility and a willingness to adapt are just as crucial as polish in the early stages of designing something new.
